What a horribly inactive year 2012 was for me, not only here but I feel in terms of accomplishments in general. I'm sorry for my long disappearances over the last year and my general lack of anything to show for myself. The few costumes I completed were simple and I didn't even manage photos for most of them. I left my messages unchecked for large periods of time except for commission business.
But I am starting 2013 feeling invigorated and ready to create! I've started the month by finishing four Millennium Item commissions, completing my first knitting project, and sewing an item for my mother. My next tasks are to finish the rest of my late Christmas presents, which will involve new forms of pattern creating and using new tools. I've planned out the first half of my cosplay year, too. In addition to getting photoshoots for completed costumes like Dipper and Mabel, I'm excited to start on these new costumes, which will involve learning and expanding new crafting skills.
Overall, my goals for 2013 are something along these lines:
- expand my abilities into new areas (knitting, resin casting, woodworking)
- expand the types of commissions I offer
- possibly open up an Etsy store later in the year for these commissions
- complete and get photoshoots of many fun and interesting cosplays
Also, a very very late but very very huge thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes back in August. I wish I had responded to you all, but know that I was very touched!
Well, that's all for an update! I hope 2013 is a wonderful year of growth and progress for all of us!
